Can UV printers print on anything?

Does UV printing require a hot press?
UV printing uses specialized UV inks. UV LEDs cure the ink to the print medium during printing rather than heat curing. No hot press required

The UV flatbed printer can print on almost any flat material, such as mobile phone cases, medals, packaging boxes, leather, wood, ceramics, promotional items, PVC, etc. With fixtures, it can also print on curved surfaces, such as cups, golf balls, etc.
What are the differences between UV printers and UV DTF printers?
