DTF (direct-to-film) printing is the process of transferring images to fabric.

It is similar to DTG printing in that it is like printing directly on clothing, but the process is slightly different when using different types of printers. DTF printing uses a dedicated DTF printer to print images on a PET film, which is then covered with a special layer of hot melt powder adhesive, and finally transferred to various textiles by hot pressing.

The key to the success of this technology lies in accurate print quality control and transfer conditions, particularly the use of white ink technology to enhance image coverage and color vividness, resulting in high-quality custom printed products.
